On 29 October 2021, NIXI added about 29 new endings under .in, including .ai.in, .biz.in, .me.in, .io.in, .pro.in and place names like .delhi.in, .up.in, .bihar.in and .gujarat.in. They're useful when your name is taken in .in or .co.in.

Are they a good idea?

They're best as a backup or a fun match for your brand (a doctor on .dr.in, a Delhi business on .delhi.in). Most people still type .in or .com by habit, so if you use one, put it on everything you print and consider buying your name in .in too.
